Add TinyUrl(URL shortening) support for Firefox and Chrome as well.
URL shortening is currently supported only for IE. Recently I faced the issue of records not opening because the URL generated is prettly big in Firefox and Chrome. It is not happening in IE because URL shortening is supported for IE.

Add functionality to take advantage of dual monitors.
With IT typically using dual monitor displays, it would be nice to have the ability to take advantage of a second monitor to show additional information relevant to the data you are viewing on your main screen.
For example:
When viewing an Incident Record, the second screen could display details about the client (once entered), such as their ticket history, outages in their location. Other information could also be displayed based on data input in the main screen, such as CI maps, Knowledge Articles, gauges/list views of incidents reported against that CI in the last hour, 2 hours, day, etc.

Allow standard SQL syntax to populate a GlideRecord (incl. joins, group by, case-when, subqueries, table variables, etc.)
Developers with experience querying relational databases using SQL can tell you that pulling and joining data is far easier using SQL syntax than using a Web GUI (fine for beginners but very slow and tedious compared to typing a query for those who know SQL) or having to define the query with Glide commands in code (very limited compared to SQL, ie no joins, cross-tab, etc.)
When googling around to see if it was possible I came across the gs.sql command, which seems to be an unofficial way to query ServiceNow with SQL-like syntax, for example
gs.sql("select count(*) from incident");…

Feedback archiving
It would be useful to have a feature to archive feedback once it has been reviewed and worked. If delete is used on the feedback, we lose the ability to report on it. Plus leaving feedback on a knowledge article for it entire duration could possibly confuse users as things change within the document.

Rich text and html support for fields and journals (comments, work notes etc)
Allow rich text and HTML formatting to be added to Comments and worknotes to feed journalled fields to enable retention of formatting, inline images etc on log creation from forms, emails etc. Although there are 'solutions' for doing this, they are currently unsupported by SN support and implemented at the customers risk. Plain text in the 21st century really isn't good enough!

Create a Trend Backlog Report with the capabilties to filter results
Create a Trend Backlog Report for task tables with the capabilty to filter results exactly like any other standard report. The goal is to have a trend chart based on 3 elements :
- Open tickets by period (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Closed tickets by period (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- backlog tickets by period (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)I know that we already have a custom chart named "Incident Backlog" in ServiceNow but it's too much complicated to adapt this report regarding our customer requirements.
We expect to find all type of chart (backlog report included) in the…

Improve the notification preferences filter to allow changesTo or changesFrom conditions
Add the conditions 'changes from' and 'changes to' to the notification conditions in the notification preferences so that on notifications such as CI affected for a change record, a user can set the condition of 'Approval changes to Approved' instead of 'Approval is Approved'.
The latter causes multiple updates as any update to the record will send a notification where as if we could limit it to the update where the record 'changed to' approved, we could make that notification more useful.1 vote -
Create an HR application within the Service Now Environment.
A quote from an article found on the internet. "research indicates that growth will become incrementally more challenging, as much of the 'low-hanging fruit' (i.e. BMC's dissatisfied customers) has already been captured, the limited ITSM market size places a ceiling on the Company's revenue potential, and SaaS alternatives to NOW emerge in the ever-changing ITSM sector."
therefore for service now to continue to prosper, it needs to brance out of the ITSM market sector and perhaps into HR. Every company needs an HR system, but not every company needs an ITSM.

ODBC Call to MySQL Stored Procedures for Reporting
ODBC Call to MySQL Stored Procedures for Reporting
Voice your support to request an enhancement to the ODBC functionality to allow calls to MySQL Stored Procedures.
This would greatly enhance your capability to generate any kind of complicated report you wish. In our case, we will connect Microsoft’s Reporting Services to the MySQL database through Service-Now’s ODBC driver giving us infinite reporting possibilities. Currently we have to download the entire database to our local MSSQL database to generate the variety of reports needed.
If you think ODBC stored procedure calls for reporting could help your company now or in the…
