Create an HR application within the Service Now Environment.
A quote from an article found on the internet. "research indicates that growth will become incrementally more challenging, as much of the 'low-hanging fruit' (i.e. BMC's dissatisfied customers) has already been captured, the limited ITSM market size places a ceiling on the Company's revenue potential, and SaaS alternatives to NOW emerge in the ever-changing ITSM sector."
therefore for service now to continue to prosper, it needs to brance out of the ITSM market sector and perhaps into HR. Every company needs an HR system, but not every company needs an ITSM.

For clarity on this, please start with a general description from the wikipedia entry for HRM: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_resource_management
There are several elements in this description that are fulfilled at least partially within the OOB ServiceNow system - but they may not be necessarily built with HRM in mind.
And although this would be fairly simple to build within ServiceNow, there may be some major stumbling blocks that need to be customized to support this function.

I activated the plugin in demo.service-now.com and it created one table, hr. It contained minimal fields. I cannot find any evident of the typical tables and fields you find in an HR database like SSN Pay rate, Name Address, taxes withheld etc... Do you know where those kind of table are or how they are named? Thanks...
